Wiener Dog Torture.

The other day I saw a lady jogging with a wiener dog. This seems extraordinarily cruel to me. Those little stumpy legs and that sagging belly? That's not a body built for speed...even if it is a jogging pace. If I were to hazard a guess, I betcha that for each stride that his jogging master took, his little cocktail wiener legs would have to take 50. There is no science behind this guess, none at all. I didn't actually follow and count, and figure out the ratio. I suppose it would have helped the story had I done that.

On a related note, I always thought the best name for a wiener dog would be Bratwurst.

Falling Behind.

Well, I have spent a good chunk of the afternoon, in between working that is, checking out other people's Blogger blogs to see what kind of blogging they've been doing. There's a lot of interesting blogs out there, a lot of creative people writing a lot of creative things about a lot of things. I got to step it up a bit here. I gotta put on the ol' thinking cap. I gotta come up with something creative. I gotta...do...something!

Well then...

Okay, the Blogger blogging hasn't got off to a rip roaring start. Being a new dad and all seems to be affecting most aspects of my existence...especially when it comes to productivity in anything but making bottles and changing diapers. I plan to use this blog effectively. I plan to write stuff. I have ideas. Now, I just have to do it.

Now, if you will excuse me, I have a diaper to change, and I don't like the smell of this one!
